What is inside

The Sunday Version

A Sunday Version page for Amazing Grace, with walk-ups and a 7-3-6 written over the words and each move explained below.

The plain chart gives you the hymnal chords. The Sunday Version shows what a church pianist does with them. Walk-ups from the 1 to the 4, the 7-3-6 into the 6, the 2, the 5sus and the 5 before home.

Each move sits on the word where it goes, and each one is explained in plain words and in numbers. The numbers work in any key, so a move you learn in G works in Bb too.

Three keys for every hymn

Amazing Grace in the keys of G, A and Bb, side by side.

Pick the key your church sings in and turn to it. The chart, the Sunday Version and the keyboards are all there in that key. No transposing in your head on Sunday morning.
