Thank You for Your Love
An original gospel song, words by Henry Q Allen. Here is the chord chart, free, with the numbers under every chord. The whole song is four chords, so you can play it in church this Sunday.
Both print clearly in black and white. No sign-up needed.
The move to learn
Bb F Gm Eb
That is the whole song: 1, 5, 6, 4. The verse, the chorus and the bridge all ride the same four chords. The pre-chorus steps out to the 2 and the 5 (Cm, F) to build, and the chorus lands back home on the 1.
The 6 (Gm) is the only minor chord in the cycle. Listen for where it falls under "Thank You for Your grace." In C the same four chords are C, G, Am, F.
The last bars appear to go Eb, then Eb minor, then Bb: the 4, the minor 4, then home. That is the old church "Amen" sound. Try it by ear.

Who wrote this. I started learning piano at thirty-five, because my pastor asked me to become the church musician. I play by ear, every Sunday at my church in St. Louis since March 2007. I write these songs, and then I chart them the way I would want to learn them.
